The 11-mile Empire State Trail section is part of the 36-mile Albany-Hudson Electric Trail. This segment is primarily an off-road rail-trail with paved and stonedust surfaces, and is great for walkers and bicyclists of all abilities.
Entry to the trail is 252 steps from the cottage, so bring your bikes and sneakers. Bring your bathing suit too and train for a triathalon on site!
