Main Street in Marshall is a very cute stop off and a scenic 30-40 minute drive. We recommend Field and Main Restaurant fieldandmainrestaurant.com (check for reservations) and pick up dessert to go at the Red Truck Bakery.
One of our favorite antique stores is Marshall Curated 8371 W Main St, Marshall, VA 20115 which is right next to Field and Main. The recycled wood deer head (in the king bedroom) was purchased here. :)
