Perfect Picnic Spot!
We stumbled across this little spot during lockdown. A pebbled area on the bank of the River Wye, where people can paddle or swim. Take a picnic and relax by the river. There are also public footpaths nearby for a nice walk past Brobury Church. You could also take a trip to Brobury House and Gardens which is located the other side of the river. Alternatively if your'e feeling more active you can arrange to kayak or canoe from here.

A great start/finishing spot for a good walk/hike. Fantastic views and some good circular routes around the area of Dorstone/Moccas.

A great National Trust venue. You can walk down to the lake, tour the house, visit the walled garden and cafe and there is a natural play area for kids.

A Fantastic Outdoor Activity Centre offering lots of different experiences. Our daughter recently did Raft building and Zip wire there and the staff were very friendly. Great for families or the adventurous Adults!

45 min drive from The Annexe. Ludlow is a lovely Market Town with a host of Independent shops and cafes and a nice range of Pubs including the very old and historic Rose & Crown.
The Castle is excellent for families with lots to look around, fantastic views and a café and Gift Shop. They also host lots of various events including outdoor music concerts.
