25 minute drive away. Small market town (Thursday and Saturday), lots of good cafes and pubs most of which are walking boots and dog friendly. Indoor activities - museums, climbing walls, leisure centre and theatre. Outdoor activities - Hill walking/running/biking. Lake swimming, rowing, boating.
