Beautiful local places to visit
Free parking at car park past the Pier House. Saw a pod of Dolphins in the sea here last year whilst having a drink on the terrace at the pier house.
Lots of lovely beachside shacks. Local shops. Supermarket. Amusements. Crazy golf. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Outdoor sea pool. Hockings ice cream. What’s not to love?

Westward Ho!
Free parking at car park past the Pier House. Saw a pod of Dolphins in the sea here last year whilst having a drink on the terrace at the pier house.

Fabulous views over the bay from the Saunton sands hotel or head straight to the beach and hire a body board, surf board and wet suit or enhance your day even more by hiring a beach hut right on the beach. These can be pre-booked too. Relax with the sand between your toes. Drinks and ice cream parlour on beach and bistro bar.

Saunton Beach
This is one of the beat beaches around. Fabulous views over the bay from the Saunton sands hotel or head straight to the beach and hire a body board, surf board and wet suit or enhance your day even more by hiring a beach hut right on the beach. These can be pre-booked too. Relax with the sand between your toes. Drinks and ice cream parlour on beach and bistro bar.

Loads more wildlife to spot Lots of fabulous walks and loads of country pubs. Dulverton library is great for tourist information. The fabulous Lorna Doone valley is located here and well worth a visit
