Great bar on a dock, this is the anchor of Greenport. The main restaurant inside has a more complete menu. Recommend going to the dock for lunch and main for dinner.

Neighborhoods
Take the NORTH FERRY ferry from Greenport village over to Shelter Island (walk, bike, or drive), and enjoy a protected little island that has hardly changed since the '50s. There's not much to do, and that's entirely the point. Marie Eiffel market for a coffee or baguette, and Stars Cafe are two of my favorite spots close to the ferry. Beyond that, you'll find an occasional diner o hotel restaurant dotting the island, where only a few roads lead North-South. You won't really get lost, but just remember to make it back before last ferry.
You can also use Shelter Island to jump between the North-South Forks. Take the NORTH FERRY and drive all the way across Shelter Island (10 minutes), and then board the SOUTH FERRY to Sag Harbor. It is about another 10 minute drive until you're in proper Sag Harbor village, but absolutely beautiful with plenty to see and do there. The Hamptons and Montauk lie just beyond.

Excellent beach and State Park all the way at the tip of the island. After this, it's the Ocean until Europe :)
Come for a relaxing day away from it all, and stay a while.

Cute beach on the bay with picnic tables and a small playground. Very scenic to look out at Shelter Island and watch motor boats zipping around. Great swimming too, always calm waters.
Take SIXTH STREET all the way down to the bay.
