This is well worth the visit. The feeding station at Bellymack Hill Farm near Lauriston allows visitors to get close first hand experiences of these gregarious birds when they come in to spectacularly snatch food provided for them.
Kites are fed daily at 2pm. Station is open from 1pm to 4pm.

This sheltered sandy bay with rocky outcrops is good for families and has the advantage of a large grass covered parking / picnic area behind the beach. At low tide a large area of wet sand is exposed, which can be muddy and dangerous in some areas, where the wreck of the ‘Monreith’ can be visited.
