Yorkville, where this apartment is located, is a charming, vibrant area with a diverse array of restaurants and shops. Fairway, a great local food market on E 86 between 2nd and 3rd Aves, and Whole Foods, on 3rd Ave between 87 and 88 Sts, are both within walking distance. The East River, with Carl Schurz Park and East 90th St ferry terminal as well as the East River Esplanade with access to Randalls Island and bike path south is a few blocks east.
