Go for a walk
... and see some nice places
From the house to Storlihytta it takes about an hours walk on a nice trail up the the mountain. On the way you can stop at an outdoor workout station to excercise. Storlyhytta is open Wednesdays and Sundays and serves a few simple dishes and have the best waffels in town!

Romsdalsmuseet is a open air museum with old houses from the region. It is a ten minute walk from the house and have a lovely tranquil atmosphere. They also have nice indoor exhibitions and a café, but my favorite is to go up the pavilion at the top of the Reknesparken (whick lies next to the museum), look at the view and the contiune down the lovely park.

Go for a swim outdoors! By the bus stop called Bjørset there is a really small beach right by a row of boat houses. It is a convenient and nice place to go for a swim (all year if you like ice bathing)! Bring picnic gear if the weathers good It is half an hour to walk and eight minutes by bike to get to Bjørset.
If you want a bigger beach you have to go twice as long out to Kringstadbukta.

In the sumnmer you can take the boat out to Hjertøye - a lovely island in the midst of the fjord where you can go for nice and easy hikes, svim, go fishing, se the open air museum and have a picnic. It's a paradise. You can actually see it from the balcony. Search for Hjertøyruta to find the boat schedule for the summer.
