Neighborhoods
NEIGHBORHOOD:
Riverside Park is only a few steps away! Walk left out of the building, and down the ramp, and you are at Pier i Café. They have drinks, and grill food perfect for a summer evening outside. The bike path leads north all the way
up to the George Washington Bridge, and south all the way to Battery Park (approximately 5miles, I have run the distance!).
72nd Street Subway is at Broadway, only a 5-minute walk. We are accessible to the local 1 train which stops all along the west side of Manhattan, plus the express 2 train as well.
Jubilee Market is in the building next door on Freedom Place. It is a normal grocery store, perfect for all your shopping needs, plus you can walk to Fairway and Citarella, which are both located on 74th and Broadway.
Wine Store - there is a lovely wine store one block south from Jubilee. They have great picks and a good selection in the $15/bottle range.
Farmer’s Market – 78th and Columbus – by the museum of Natural History. They have a lovely farmer’s market there on Sundays.
Hell’s Kitchen – 50’s & 9th/10th has a TON of great places to eat! (Broadway musical + dinner in this area= great night out!)

Zabar’s – 81st & Bway – best coffee and lovely cheese, meats, etc.
Citarella – 75th & Bway - great fresh fish

Movies – Loews Cinema 68th and Broadway; Lincoln Plaza Cinema 62nd & Bway; Elinor Bunin Theater 66th between Bway and Amsterdam.
