Kivi Park

Kivi Park is 3 km away and it is a unique not for profit offering over 480 acres of land to be explored. The park has an extensive trail network for mountain biking, hiking, fat biking, snowshoeing and both classic cross-country skiing and skate skiing. Canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding can be enjoyed at Crowley Lake with portage options to Linton Lake – a truly peaceful oasis that is one of Kivi Park’s hidden gems.

Laurentian Trails

The Lake Laurentian Conservation Area is 16 km away and has cycling, running, walking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing trails with numerous scenic lookouts, lakes, wetlands and bird watching opportunities.

Killbear Provincial Park

If you’re travelling North to Long Lake, consider stopping in at Killbear Provincial Park. There are many scenic hiking: Twin Points Trail 1.6 km loop (40 minutes easy), Lookout Point Trail 3.5 km loop (1.5 hours moderate) or the Recreational Trail – 6 km linear (3 hours) easy to moderate. The day use area has a sandy beach with a designated swimming and picnic area.

Grundy Lake Provincial Park

If you’re travelling North to Long Lake, consider stopping in at Grundy Lake Provincial Park. There is scenic hiking on the Swan Lake Trail – 1.5 km loop (1 hour moderate to difficult), Gut Lake Trail - 2.5 km (1 ½ hours moderate to difficult), Beaver Dams Trail – 3.6 km (2.5 hours, moderate to difficult), or the Pakeshkag Lake Trail – 5.2km (2 hours- easy). There are six natural sand beaches recommended for swimming. The Main Beach is located on Grundy Lake and is marked with buoy lines.
