Sightseeing
Beautiful mountain hike! A 13 km drive from the golf course on unmaintained logging roads. You will need a vehicle with good clearance. Check out this site for directions. It also has great descriptions of other hikes in the area. The hike is 6 km and a little tricky for small kids to navigate the boulder field.

You can walk to this (about 6 km one way downhill) right from the bottom row of the Aspens buildings. Keep in mind you will have to wakl 6km back up! Or it's a short drive from the resort - turn right at the hairpin turn.

Great hiking and mountain biking close by. You can take the approximately 6km Scalli Mag trail from the bottom of the Aspens all the way down to Cedar lake and more amazing trails. I love going all the way out to Canyon Creek for the beautiful view.
