If they are full try West cafe down on the same beach for amazing pizzas! Best time of day is evening to watch the sunset over the beach, however the morning and afternoon will be great too! The beach is also fantastic with great views.
If you are keen to surf this beach also offers an amazing surf school for all ages.

Beautiful secluded beach with amazing views. Almost feels tropical. Take a picnic and set up camp, because you're not gonna want to leave...
Just be mindful for parking - arrive as early as possible!

Pack the car early and head up to Newquay (45 min drive). This town offers incredible sightseeing, fun activities and food experiences like nowhere else in Cornwall.

Pack the car and head up to Wadebrigde with the whole family! This is such a fun day out. Hire bicycles in Wadebridge and cycle on through to famous Padstow via the scenic Camel Trail.
Stop off for a light lunch at one of Padstow's renowned restaurants before heading back.
Highly recommend for those who like adventure.

Stop off for a light lunch at one of Padstow's renowned restaurants before heading back.

The Gurnard's Head has a lovely spacious outside seating area (great for kids to run around). It is located in the middle of farmland overlooking the sea.
Just sit and relax in the sun with 5-star cuisine whiles the kids play outside. Bonus: they have an incredible wine menu.

Make sure to book in, take the kids to walk around the animal sanctuary, feed the animals, take a train ride and grab an ice-cream. The kids will love it!
