Beach
Warren Dunes has a long stretch of beach with bathrooms and snack stands. Follow the signs that read DOG PATH to park near dog beach access - that's where we usually hang out! A day pass for non-Michigan residents to Warren Dunes is $9 but a year long pass to all of Michigan's state parks is $36.

This public beach near downtown Union Pier is another one of our favorites. Please be advised there are no public washrooms here, but Milda's, Union Pier Market, and Blackcurrant Bakery in downtown Union Pier do have washrooms for customers.

If you're looking for a busier, city beach, this one is great fun and worth the drive if you'd like to do some other things in St. Joe.

This is a public beach with a small parking lot, portapotties, and some shade. It's our favorite beach! But beware of stairs if you're hauling a lot.

Oh my gosh, the cocktails. The food is fantastic, too, but the cocktails.
Our very local bar, just a block and a half away, that serves delicious food some of the time, and has great drinks all of the time! There are karaoke nights, trivia nights, and frequent live music nights all year round. The “yard” portion of SideYard features outdoor ping pong tables, bags, and other yard games for the whole family.
