Amazing Japanese restaurant a short walk down the road. It's easy to spend a lot of money here, but trust me the food is worth it.

City/town information

Brisbane is a beautiful river city with an abundance of choice in nearby venues. My favourite pass times in the area is to run, walk or ride along the many river side walks.

Neighbourhoods

James Street is a trendy street a short walk from the apartment. It's known for trendsetting clothing stores and tree lined streets. Plenty of options for food as well.

New Farm Markets on Saturday

New Farm markets are located near the Power House at the end of Brunswick Street (a short drive/scoot away). The markets offer a superb variety of food options, fresh produce and coffee vans! I recommend trying the Portuguese tarts.

Local Transport

Truly, usage of a car while staying in this unit is almost unnecessary. The apartment is within a close walking distance to everything the Valley has to offer. For those looking to explore the city beyond the immediate neighborhood, the Valley Island bus stop offers access to the high frequency city glider bus route 60, which can take you directly to the City, Southbank, and West End. Access to the cities rail system is also a short walking distance to the Valley Metro.

Don't forget your swimmers

Even if its winter, don't forget to pack your swimmers. The Urban Oasis Apartment has access to a hot tub in the common area. Perfect after a big night out or a long day exploring the city.
