Getting around

There are bus links with Cork City and other towns around West Cork but the easier way to get around is by car

Friday market day

Spend the day mooching around the market. Things really peak around 1pm so arrive a little bit earlier to beat the lunchtime queues. The first Friday of every month is the ‘big’ fair day with smaller ones every other Friday for the rest of the month. Don’t miss Dan’s Donuts and Effi’s falafel wraps

Foodie market Glengarriff

Highly recommend the food market in Quills car park in glengarriff. It is thronged at the weekend so arrive early for coffee and crepes. Try Coasties for the best grilled cheese sandwiches
