this is a great day time activity to do. With it being just 9 minute walk away, you can take fairmont avenue all the way down, maybe grab a quick bite or some coffee on your way there. its a great museum to see.

2027 Fairmount Avethis is a great day time activity to do. With it being just 9 minute walk away, you can take fairmont avenue all the way down, maybe grab a quick bite or some coffee on your way there. its a great museum to see.
a 12 min drive away, the mutter museum is exceptionally different from any other museum i've been to. I wouldn't say you need a strong stomach to go, but if you have an interest in anatomy & medical history then this is the place to go! just make sure ahead of time that they are open.

either a 25 minute walk or a 10 minute drive, chinatown is a sight. Before moving to philly i made it a point to stop by here and get a roast duck noodle soup from canton house, YUM! walking the streets of china town you'll see what a mark theyve made in philly.

You can watch the fountain water show while grabbing a bite from the stands, you can play some mini golf in their philly inspired course, or you can grab food from china town walk down and have a picnic! Sometimes they even have attractions in the park mattering when you come.

Sometimes they even have attractions in the park mattering when you come.
13 minutes from my spot, i love taking everyone to anyone whoe comes and visits to spruce street harbour. They have the USS Olympia & the USS Bacuda that you can stroll by, a small biertgarden where you can 'lay' above the deleware river, hammocks to drink a nice lemonade and eat some funnel cake on, and they even have a cute little arcade at the end! Any age, any type of trip, spruce street should truly be in visitors itinerary.
