Be warned, this can be a popular spot at certain times and during those times they encourage you to leave as soon as you're done eating.

Washington Park has both the zoo, which can be fun for both kids and adults, and the Rose Test Garden which has more roses than I've ever seen in one place, and the summer is the best time to go! The Garden can also offer be some amazing views of the city on non-cloudy days.
