5 star hotel + spa. The afternoon tea is excellent! The restaurant overlooks the loch, so get a window side table if you can.

Known as the Harrods of the Highlands. This is a department store with outdoor clothing, tweed, whiskey, gin and food hall. Their restaurant does an excellent Sunday lunch and there is a fish and chip shop in the courtyard which also does lobster and chips.

Open 9.30- 3.30 daily until october This is a working water mill where they stone grind flour which they use to make their delicious baking and flour. There is a bakery tearoom which is fairly small but there is a tea garden where you can sit outside and enjoy the view. We would highly recommend stopping by in the morning for fresh warm bread and then returning in the afternoon for cake. Their chocolate cake is our recommendation, which is deliciously moist. As you drive into Blair Atholl from the house the mill is signposted to the right, you drive over the railway line and park in the large car park on the left.

The highland fling is a nearby bungee. There are three options. The bungee- a 40 meter bungee from a bridge platform over the river Gary. The highland swing which allows you to be dropped into a freefall which then swings out across the river, for those who rather not jump headfirst. The Zip park. This is a series of 9 zip lines that cross across the river Gary at varying heights.

If you park in the house of Bruar carpark you will see the signs to falls of Bruar. This is a 45 beautiful minute walk up along the river crossing 2 bridges. You walk along the right hand side of House of Braur to start the walk. The walk to the main tallest fall is quite steep but well worth it, alternatively the view above can be seen from the bottom bridge with easy access.
