Sinks Canyon is a gorgeous place to see nature. There is a very interesting visitors center, a place to see huge fish and feed them, waterfalls you can hike to, swimming holes and even petroglyphs.

If you love historical sites, this is a must see. Some important things to note are:
Once you get off the main road, the road you’ll drive on to get there is rough & unpaved.
You may see RATTLESNAKES.

South Pass City is a fun and interesting place to visit, especially for history lovers. There are around 20 or so different buildings to visit, each one appearing as it would have in the 1800’s. There is a little creek where visitors can pan for gold, and a gift store. The entry price is very reasonable. Dogs are allowed and kids also really enjoy it.

There are around 20 or so different buildings to visit, each one appearing as it would have in the 1800’s. There is a little creek where visitors can pan for gold, and a gift store. The entry price is very reasonable. Dogs are allowed and kids also really enjoy it.
Thermopolis is a hot springs area, where you can enjoy both man made pools with hot water, and visit the natural hot springs. There is a complex with 3 or 4 different pools, both indoor and outdoor, and some have water slides. There are buffalo in the park that you can drive up to see. There is also a dinosaur museum, a historic shopping area and a couple restaurants. Thermopolis is also a popular fishing spot along the Bighorn River and you can take whitewater rafting trips from there.
