The population of Cades Cove were allowed to live in their farms until they died out. The Park service has maintained all of their cabins and their living history. Visit these cabins, get to know their names, relationships, their love of their home in the cove, their crafts, farming, and survival skills. Visit the rough mountain “roads” they walked, and cemeteries where they are buried, but their story and legacy lives on.
