The waitstaff calls out the order to the cooks and there are no written guest tickets for the cooks to refer to -but your meal comes as requested even when the place is packed ! Say hi to the owner Dave who has been at the grill for decades! The blueberry pancakes ( ask for an “order of blues”) are the best in the state! Treat yourself to the real Maine maple syrup.

Go at low tide to hear/ see the best crashing of the waves. This is created by the water entering the caves and “thundering”. It’s really a must see if you’re in Acadia National Park. Spectacular views all the way around. Wear sensible footwear here - the steps down to it are usually wet.
