Visit this beautiful walled garden a 5 min drive or a 30 min walk from the house - on Fridays - Sundays there is a yummy coffee van which sells delicious baked goods or if you are a cider fan, the homemade cider bar Barkey Wood Cider is a must visit!

Blagdon is a great village to visit as a walk around the lake is a must, as well as a visit to the Yeo Valley organic garden (go on their website for tickets)

We recommend parking at Brunel Lock Car park as it is around a 15-20 min drive from the house and is only 50p an hour! Explore M Shed museum, dine out at the restaurants at Whapping Wharf or enjoy a circular walk/bar crawl around the famous harbour. You can also visit the SS Great Britain!
