The first Zip Lining tour in the region, it is a pionnerr of adventure tours. Now it has become more like a Park than just a zip lining tour. It is still one of the best adventure activities to do in the area.

The Mangrove tour with Macha is one the best kept secrets of the region. Incredible marine wildlife blending with the rain forest fauna it is an activity that has so much to offer. Nature from another perspective shows how the estuaries play a key role for the conservation of wildlife and how this forest protect our coast lines from flooding and how this a major recycle place. Definitely worthwhile the visit.

Vecindarios

The house is located in the Village of Villa Nueva which is a rural town just 15 minutes by car from Quepos Town. There are several houses and residencies in this little town with one school, church, a couple of supermarkets and the people who live here are very humble locals who are dedicated mostly to work on the land and also go to work to the town of Quepos so they have to commute to their jobs. There are two rivers that surround the town of Villa Nueva, at the norhtwest the Naranjo river which is well know for its rapids class 3 and 4 and sometimes even 5. There are lots of tour operators who organize white water rafting tours to this river just to run its wild waters. I recommend to do this tour in the dry season because the rainy season the currents are too stong and dangerous. At the southeast of the village we can find the Cotos River which is a smaller river with calmer waters, therefore this is a specially good to visit to have a swimgn on the calm waters looking for natural ponds thorught its course, however I recommend to look for the ponds in the dry season as during the rainy season its waters get dirty for the mud that that strong currents make. Up north you can find the very small village of Esquipulas which is specially interesting for Birdwatching seekers. Its beatiful mountains and vegetation atract the most rare and incredible bidrs of Costa Rica. Excursions with professional birdwatching guides can be organized in advance for tourist who enjoy being around this incredible animals.

The best way to get around is by car however...

Even though the best way to get around is by car, there are also other means of transportation available to use. There are buses running back and forth in certain times a day, also there are taxis available and the numbers for public taxis are: +506 27770425 or +50627771207. Also you can request an Uber or Didi however there aren`t much of these around. If you need specific transportation I can coordinate transportation for you and your group to go anywhere you need. I have several uber friends and private taxis as well as Vans who are willing to pick you up at the House anytime.
