A well-hidden gem that even a lot of locales have not found. Levonese deli, grocery, restaurant! Great outdoor seating. Must try their jalapeno hummus (a good bite, but not hot)! Grape leaves, Baba ghanoush, tabouli, falafel, baklava, and many more delectables! Great place to buy pantry staples.

Make reservations! Excellent comfort food and the best desserts in town! This was once the soda fountain and eats side of a pharmacy. The pharmacy still exists, but that side of the building has been transformed into an eatery with a mid-century vibe! During Restraunt hours, a curtain is drawn across the pharmacy entry. Bike to the museum from the greenway blocks from the Alamance Ranch and explore the incredible outdoor park and art exhibits. Eat in the fabulous restaurants and shop for unique finds in the gift shop. And if there are special exhibits, go!

Love taking the train anywhere. The trains coming and going from Raleigh are clean, spacious and, depending on the day of week, uncrowded. Take the train to Durham, a great day-trip. Watch the Durham Bulls AAA baseball, eat and/or drink at the Counting House in the Museum Hotel. Visit the restored Durham hotel and eat at the rooftop restaurant. Durham has a great, artsy vibe!
