You can visit it today and browse through the Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site museum and gift shop; or just explore the battlefield! Annual re-enactments take place on this battlefield or if you're feeling spooky, the battlefield holds Ghost Walks on October 9th, 16th, 23rd,and 30th.

If you enjoy seeing landmarks that come along with mysterious legends, make sure to stop and feed the Donkey Tree a delicious apple. This tree holds many memories and some say it holds even dark curses. Legend has it that if you touch the tree you will experience bad luck very soon; however, if you place an apple in the mouth of the Donkey, you will be granted protection.
