Neighborhoods
Los Sueños is where you want to stay. But Jaco is where you want to Party! There’s shopping , food, drinks, and definitely where you want to go for night life. It’s 5 mins from the resort. We’ve even gone in our golf cart.

This place was voted top 5 sunsets in the world! I would recommend staying 1 night and enjoy the grounds / food / sunset. Then move in. It’s not a place you’ll want to stay more than 2 nights. I’m my option. It’s gorgeous!!! But it’s a little out of the way. Not far. Just up the hill.

Transportation to and from airport can be tricky.
I recommend to all my guest. Depending on the size of your group. Cost is usually around $120 for transportation to and from airport. Your picked up on time in a Micro Bus that is big enough for a family and luggage.
You can also grab an Uber if you don't have lots of luggage it'll be around $100

Pack for warm or rain. It’s never cold here! Casual attire.
I have lived here for 1 year. And the only time I wear closed toe shoes is when working out or walking / hiking etc. Dressy casual is what you’ll mostly wear. Even to the nicest places. You might want to pack some dressy outfits. This area has something for all people including kids and pet friendly restaurants. Water bottles / Small Fanny pack or Back pack / Tennis shoes / and if ATVing clothes to get dirty in.
