Bring a GPS. You will not have signal. Use the Black Mountain Campground Address to get there. Park across the Black Mountain Campground and walk into the Campground. Then turn left and follow the white diamond signs. If you are having problems finding it, talk to the Black Mountain Staff and they will guide you the right way. The walk is really short to the waterfall. Very easy trail.

Very strenuous hike from the Black Mountain campground to the summit. Bring a jacket or an extra layer of clothes and a hat. Temperatures are usually 10-30 degrees cooler than Asheville. Weather conditions can change rapidly. Take rain gear along if you are hiking.
