20 minutes away, up the "Apache Gap," is Canyon Lake. 500 ft cliff jut out of the water in this narrow canyon lake. At the marina are, boat rentals, the "Dolly" paddlewheel tours. Several parks for day-use. Fishing, swimming, cliff jumping.... Here, I'll throw in a note about rafting on the Salt River (seasonal) and Saguaro lake, which is approx 35 minutes away from the home.
