Located right next to Snowbird I don't think you can find a better ski area in the United States than Alta Snowbird. Alta in particular is viewed as the Godfather of all Independent based ski areas. It has that Independent feel with a bonus of all upgraded (fast) lifts. The mountain really is a special place and a must visit for epic snow days. Believe the hype, Alta truly is bucket list place to ski!

Snowbird is one of the premier ski resorts to visit for advanced and expert level skiers. From the top of the tram the runs off of the frontside and backside of the Cirque is some of the most amazing expert terrain to ski in the US. The whole mountain is amazing for that matter, for any seasoned skier I couldn't recommend a visit to Snowbird highly enough!
