Guide des Quartiers
From our place, you can go the Batignolles area on foot ;
You can go through Parc Martin Luther King (quite big for Paris ! nice to go jogging or play with kids),
then to Square des Batignolles which is lovely,
and then all small streets around are nice (streets betwen Square des Batignolles and Place de Clichy). This "Batignolles village" is famous for small shops (deco/design, fashion, ...) and bars/coffees.
When you arrive at Place de Clichy, you can go on until the famous Montmartre area within 10/15 min on foot.

Metro is cheap and fast, especially Line 14
Metro Line 14 is at "Porte de Clichy" station > 5 min. by walk/on foot from our apartment.
This Line is perfect to visit Paris as it brings you :
- to "Pont Cardinet" station in 1 minutes (from there you can visit the Batignolles area)
- to "Madeleine" station in 6 min. (from Madeleine you can go on foot at the Opera Garnier for example or at "Place de la Concorde)
- to "Pyramide" station in 7 min. (from there you can go at the Louvre Museum for ex. which is just next).
- to "Chatelet" station in 9 minutes (center of Paris, Chatelet is just next to the Marais area which is quite famous).
