Sea, for the ones that like nudism, only nature there. No shade, no drinking water. You 'll need to go there organised, equipped with sun screan, water, some food.
How to get there:
Option 1. Take the orange KTEL ATTIKIS bus http://ktelattikis.gr/en/news.html?id=2106
from the bus stop near by Syntagma square. Tickets you buy on the bus.
Option 2. Take the red metro line and go to Elliniko. Then get the BUS 122 (end destination: Saronida) and get off at Limanakia B.

It's a cellar-tavern, oriental style. On wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays around 22.00 hours there is Rembetika music by a bouzouki and a guitar players. No microphones or loud music.. That's exactly what I appreciate! Dishes: try turkish style Lahmacun, pork in lemon sauce, beef in tomato sauce, fava, etc..

Escape from the traffic, the tourists. The best shots of Acropolis u get either from the "Pnyka" area or the "Mnimeio Filopappou".
I wouldn't recommend to stay there after sunset. Its a big park.
