Jack is from Kildare so he insisted we write this. Kildare is the horse capital of Ireland and is an easy train ride from Houston station near our house. We would recommend a trip to Firecastle for food, Kildare Village for shopping and the Irish National Stud or Curragh Racecourse for a great day out.
