This is one of our very favorite places to go! It's a year-round farmer's market that is huge with amazing and affordable produce and some of the friendliest farmers you'll ever meet. Make sure you eat at the restaurant if you want a real-deal Southern breakfast!

Downtown Raleigh has some seriously underrated nooks and crannies! If you want to start your jaunt around downtown, you may want to start in the cute cobblestoned City Market area near Moore Square Park. While it's true that the city has a little ways to go when it comes to being filled with shops, etc, it's still a joy to stroll around and people watch, enjoy the fountains and outdoor market in Moore Square in the Summer, the food halls, and the amazing breweries and craft cocktail bars.
