This hidden gem is a local favorite for a quick swim to cool off after work in the summer, or to spend the entire day on the sandy beaches, swimming, and saying beach volleyball. Located right by the airport, this beautiful man-made lake (used to be a quarry) has a walking path all the way around it, an off-leash dog beach area, a dock you can fish off of, and so many great spots to swim or float.

Cultus Lake is large and beautiful, and only a short drive away. So many numerous campgrounds, parks, and beaches all around the lake, you can experience a different part of the lake every time you go there. Great place to drop your boat in if you have one.

This mountain resort is a favorite for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or snow-shoeing, and is close enough to drive to for a day trip, or even night-skiing.

If you have a boat, this is another great lake to check out nearby.
My favorite place for a day trip. Beautiful lake, awesome restaurants and cute souvenir shops, and natural hot springs all around it. If you've never been, you NEED to go!
