Funky cafe close to my apartment, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. There's a pub quiz on Sunday nights. Moorland Road is also worth checking out for its shops and second-hand stores.

The food here is merely okay IMHO, but their riverside patio is one of the prettiest places in Bath for a meal or a drink. The best time to go is at around 4 or 5 p.m. on a sunny afternoon.

Bath's main theatre hosts a varied programme of plays; you can often get stand-by seats for only £6. It's also worth checking out their children's theatre, The Egg (even if you don't have kids!).
