Bancroft is the local hub for many cottages. It has a variety of stores and restaurants. There a several drug stores with a hospital 5-10 mins away from our cottage. Foodland, No Frills & M&M’s for groceries. Canadian Tire & Home Hardware in town. 2 Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Subway, Dixie Lee, Pizza Pizza & others. Several dine in restaurants. LCBO & Beer Store in town.

Things to Do
Visit for free and enjoy hiking trails and amazing views overlooking Bancroft. You can drive to the top so major uphill hiking is not a problem. Great location the have a family picnic, hike or just chill.

Eagle's Nest Park & Lookout

There are trails leading up to the waterfalls. Trails are clear following the river up to the chutes. Located just east of Bancroft just a 10-15 minute drive.
