Some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world are right here in Guanacaste. There is nothing more magical than being in the middle of paradise, taking off your shoes, and jumping into a cool, mountain-fed swimming hole. We've narrowed the list to our favorite five waterfalls, all within four hours of Tamarindo.
Located less than two hours from Tamarindo, between Liberia and Bagaces, this easy-to-hike waterfall is considered one of, if not the most, beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. Cost: Free, but parking is about $5 USD. Donations are encouraged, with funds supporting the nearby Los Llanos School.
