Favorite Hikes
This is one of our favorite places to hike. It's great because:
- Do not have to wait in a really long line of cars.
- Beautiful trails.
- Don’t have to buy a camping pass or park pass to get in.
Only downside is there are no rocks to climb. The hiking is great though.

Make sure to see the park before you go. The sheer expanse of Joshua Trees and rocks is amazing. The landscape is different in the main part of the park compared to the Black Rock Canyon campground. I would really recommend seeing both to compare.

Food scene
Our favorite spot for breakfast and coffee. It can get crowded, so going early help - or go on a weekday.
We especially like the Green Dream sandwich.

Things to do
There are tons of thrift stores around the area, if you like to thrift. We've found a lot more stuff and fewer clothes than thrifting in other areas.
