A good place for a walk, a jog or simply passing through on the way to Frederiksberg Castle on top of the hill (not open to the public though) and the Zoo.
During December and as long as winter holds its grip there is also an ice rink at the entrance to the garden, right at the end of Frederiksberg Allé.

It's really just a place to go for shopping, easing, drinking, and twice a year a vibrant street market, where the narrow chaotic two-way street is closed off for traffic and everything and everyone takes to the street.
Cafe Viggo for informal but delicous French bistro, Goutmand for delikatessen, Juels Vin & Spiritus for a good liquid souvenir, Rist for a great flat White and croissant and so much more! Do not miss Værnedamsvej!

There is a Fakta around the corner on H.C. Ørstedsvej but personally I prefer the much better stocked Rema 1000 close to Forum metro station.
