Food scene
This place is the BEST steakhouse in Pensacola, and also offers great Irish staples. The portions are huge and they are super affordable. Favorites include: $3 martinis on Tuesdays, Shephard's Pie, the Reuban, burgers, and $8 bottomless mimosas on Sunday brunch. Tip: they actually open at 10 am on Sundays for those in the know. Highly recommend arriving at 10!!

This place has the best Grouper Bites, Tuna Dip, and Oysters in Pensacola. It's about 15-20 minutes from the house over in Pensacola Beach, but it's well worth the drive! Get there when they open for lunch (11) to avoid long waits!

This taqueria is in the back of a Raceway gas station, but has the best tacos, hands down. Its original location (behind a Shell station) is further up Davis, but is worth the trip, too. Head on into the Raceway to order. Highly suggest the sincronizada.

The original brewery here in Pensacola, this place has amazing beer. You'll find their flagships all around Pensacola, but the brewery has so much more to offer. Check out their Dunkle, Kolsch, and ESB for some unique brews.

A great place to experience the amazing history of Pensacola. It is a National Park, so there is a small fee for driving onto the park. Rangers will give talks and guided tours that really make this place "come to life": https://www.nps.gov/guis/planyourvisit/guidedtours.htm

Catch a Blue Angels Practice
The US Navy's Blue Angels are the pride of Pensacola. They host two shows at "home" each year--on Pensacola Beach in July and on NAS Pensacola in November as their "homecoming" show at the end of the season.
They typically practice twice weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at NAS Pensacola. If you are a DoD ID holder, you can catch the shows from the flight line. If not, you can always check out their practices from Fort Pickens or along the water downtown. Check out their practice schedule for more info: https://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/blueangels/
