Outdoor activity / Relax in nature

Start your day with a morning walk in Central Park. It's only couple minutes away, and you can find the bridge that leads there behind that small forest you see from the window infront of my house. There are many paths to explore by walking/biking/sking, and I recommend you to go around as much as you like. Don't be afraid to get lost. There are lots of signs to help you navigate back home (google maps will also guide you). If you turn left after the bridge, you will find a community garden and cute creek that you can follow. You will come to a second bridge crossing a road. This is where Pirkkola starts, and where you can find outdoor gym, swimming pools, sport tracks etc. When turning right after the bridge, you will find a way to Maunulan maja (red cottage with cafeteria). Walk further and you'll see cute (an not at all creepy) cemetery for pets. Continue even more and you will end up seeing more community gardens and eventually you are able to walk/bike all the way to city center and Töölö. Lots of nature and history, wartime trenches, new and old forest to explore. Tip: To explore the central park nearby fun and sporty way you can rent mountain bikes and get guided tours from local company located in Hotel Haaga few minutes away from my house.
