On the western end, Kennedy Street begins at 16th Street opposite Rock Creek Park in DC’s 16th Street Heights Neighborhood. Kennedy Street passes through Brightwood Park, Petworth, Fort Totten and Michigan Park neighborhoods where it ends at Eastern Avenue and the Maryland state line. Don’t miss the annual street fair in June.

The arboretum is beautiful all year round. It’s a great place to see cherry blossoms with a (slightly) smaller crowd.
