An easy hike early on, a great viewpoint / picnic spot at about 35 minutes in. Take Latte's and pastries from AJ's market (La Encantada) or the Danish Bakery (Swan and Sunrise), go early and head home for a siesta in summer. If ambitious, the full trail is a great workout, marvelous mountain views, but DRY and HOT if there is no cloud cover.
