We are incredibly fortunate to be in the middle of stunning, award winning, gorgeous, sandy beaches. Depending on which cottage you have rented our beach is a 2 - 7 minute walk. Sit on the front porch and enjoy ocean views while reading a good book with the ocean air relaxing your body, mind and soul!

Good Harbor Beach has been named one of the top 25 beaches in the United States by Travel + Leisure!

My children have always loved the big wild waves and the sugar-soft sand of Good Harbor Beach, and the gentler river side, which is always good for floating in and out with the tide, like a lazy river. Good Harbor Beach has been named one of the top 25 beaches in the United States by Travel + Leisure!

Wingaersheek Beach is located on Annisquam Harbor. The rocks are great for climbing and where there are rocks there are tidal pools filled with the wonders of marine life!

We just recently discovered Plum Island. There’s a little snack bar open off season and our dog Riley was allowed on the beach! It was a terrific day!

Welcome to New England seaside! You will find plenty of clam shacks and lobster eateries in this area! Browse through the listings below and drive around and try new places. You must try local fried clams and lobster rolls or steamed lobster!
We love CK Pearl, as it is open year-round and is situated right on the banks of the Essex River. The patio is open seasonally. My favorite meal on the menu is the lobster carbonara, my kids love the steak tips and my mom’s favorite is fried clams. The clams probably come right from our own waters with the clambers bringing in their buckets of clams into one of our own beaches in the neighborhood - Clammer’s Beach!

J.T. Farnum’s has been a local favorite since 1941, when at the time it was called Wilson’s Fried Clams, when owned by the Wilson family. In 1944 the Farnum family adopted the family business and remained in the family for 50 years until Terry and Joseph Cellucci purchased the restaurant in 1994, and kept the name but added their initials as a personal touch, thus named J.T. Farnums.

Marini Farm has farm fresh foods every day! It is my ultimate favorite farm stand! It’s about 15 minutes from the cottage, and totally worth it! Not to be missed! It’s been in operation since 1928, they certainly know how to satisfy their customers with their fresh, high quality foods. They have fresh fruits and veggies from their own farm, the best tasting corn on the cob, and lots of locally produced foods.

We have been visiting Russell Orchards and farm stands for many years. In the fall you can pick apples, and the summer months berries! All the produce sold in the store is grown on their own farm even their own fruit wines.
