Touch of Aroma Cafe -
Our least known but best hands down cafe in town. Enjoy a cuppa, a piece of cake and lose an hour or two wandering around these amazing curios. Such a treasure trove shop - you'll love it.

This place has had many reincarnations, but seems to be travelling along quite well as Longriders. Pizza, burgers, fish and chips, etc etc. Not a bad place for a feed, but check opening hours - not as regular as you'd think.

We've been regulars of this hotel for 5 years and have rarely had a bad meal. Everything from great steaks, curries, pasta, and the standard parmi - its only 15 minutes from home, its well worth the trip down the hill for a mid week dinner.

I love Boddington - its just half an hour down the road, the sculptures are incredible, the Black Sleep Cafe is a worthy lunch stop, and sitting down by the Hotham River is an idyllic photo opportunity.

Well worth the trip - just over an hour from here to there. Admittedly not much else to this country town, but the Wool Shed makes it worthwhile. They have a variety of shops from Australian Sandlewood, Wool fashions and shoes, typical bush gourmet foods, pottery and a great cafe. Lots of historical artefacts on the wool industry too!

Its our second choice for big box store towns close by - not a great looker, or anything particularly standout, but the sculptures are amazing. Slow down and take time out to find them all. Make sure you hop out of the car to see them up close!

A little more expensive than ol' Dwelly, but some the heritage buildings around this town are worthy of a look. The cafe is also sweet, and services a good cuppa. "Necessiteas" perched up on its hill is a really lovely little asian inspired shop, and the Pub has great dinner meals.

Dinner options are very limited.
The only reliably open dinner venue in town is the Dwelly Pub. Its open most nights, but check their social media just to be sure. Longriders offers dinner on some nights, but it is seasonal - always check this one for opening hours.
