Truly a unique place and almost always has a crowd. Craft beer, wine, taxidermy and apparel store...you would think that would not turn out so cool but Mesquite Creek Outfitter pulls it off. We like to grab a drink from here, some Taco's at Mikey V's and sit on the Courthouse steps chatting with our neighbors and listening to the street musicians.

Within and hours drive, is this great adventure park. It has the longest, fastest zip line in Texas so be prepared! Day and Night Tours available. . Bring your suit. This would be a great pair up with a visit to the Oasis Restaurant afterwards. If you are not into ziplining, or just ready for more fun, visit their water adventure park too! Located IN Volente.

Folks visiting Georgetown often want to stop by Magnolia's. We like it to. Plan for the drive to take about an hour. Consider stopping in Salado on the way, they have a cute little shopping area as well and the Stagecoach Inn is a popular place to eat.

I haven't tried them yet..but am looking forward to it this summer. I will update this space when I do. Georgetown has a nice Lake and the San Gabriel River for some close to home water fun.
