Unfortunately I have to downgrade what was formerly my top recommendation for wine tasting. It’s still a great choice with excellent wine, but they closed their great outdoor tasting area that was apparently just a pandemic feature. They do have olive oil tastings and even a little taste of olive oil ice cream make this a good option for parties with non-drinkers as well as wine enthusiasts. They have some bocce courts outside as well. Close to downtown Kelseyville and Clear Lake State Park to fit into a day’s itinerary of hiking and shopping.

My favorite restaurant in the county, but I’m a huge fan of El Salvadoran food. Pupusas, platanos fritos, casamiento/traditional Salvadoran breakfast (ask for it off menu, they have it!). Soooo good.
