Outdoor Activities
This is a great park with access to the Cross Island Trail and a public beach. Parking is a bit inland, so there’s about a 10 minute walk, or short bike ride to the beach. Note that this is a nature preserve. Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are prohibited. Beach blankets and food are allowed.

This is a very scenic and relatively flat biking and walking trail that runs east-west across Kent Island. It starts at Terrapin Nature Park and ends at Kent Narrows. The trail features shaded woodland areas, marshes and bridges.

Cross Island Trail
Cross Island TrailThis is a very scenic and relatively flat biking and walking trail that runs east-west across Kent Island. It starts at Terrapin Nature Park and ends at Kent Narrows. The trail features shaded woodland areas, marshes and bridges.

Matapeake Clubhouse and Beach
