There are a lot of good restaurants in tosa village. Cafe Hollander is a favorite of mine but there are so many good places depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Milwaukee's Waterfront on Lake Michigan
Go to the waterfront. Parking is FREE (unlike Chicago!) and plentiful. Miles of open access (with trails & bike rentals) to parks & views of Lake Michigan. Bradford Beach is nice.

BEER!
Lots of breweries. Go on a Brewery tour. Lakefront Brewery has a fun one & great beer & food and a nice neighborhood to wander around. Miller (2 blocks from the house) STILL hasn't reopened their brewery tours YET post covid. PLEASE check because it's WORTH your time & is fun. Nice quick walk down the hill and you're there. Great history. Wonderful old buildings. I used to work there :-) when I first moved to Milwaukee. Who knew beer companies hired Chemists?

ALDI for groceries and CERMAK on Miller Parkway
Good food buys. Cermak has great PILES of fresh produce & every hot sauce you'd ever want as well as freshly made tortillas---still hot! --- & an International section that is 2nd to none. You got a hankerin' for some Slovakian spices? You'll find them here! The first time I went here, I wandered around for an hour.....it felt like a small trip out of the states and into a wonderland of flavors :-)
